SkyView Pro

Privacy Policy

Last updated:

SkyView Pro is operated by SkyView Pro LLC, a single-member limited liability company owned by Tyler Osiel and based in Florida, USA (“SkyView Pro”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). SkyView Pro is a flight school management platform. We are committed to protecting the privacy of students, instructors, and school administrators who use our service. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate the SkyView Pro platform:

  • Account information — your name and email address when you register.
  • Flight logs — lesson bookings, flight durations, aircraft used, and instructor notes recorded during training.
  • Payment information — billing details processed securely through Stripe. We never store raw card numbers on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the SkyView Pro service:

  • Scheduling — to book and manage flight lessons between students, instructors, and aircraft.
  • Invoicing — to generate itemised invoices based on completed flight hours and applicable rates.
  • Payments — to process lesson fees via Stripe on behalf of your flight school.
  • Communication — to send booking confirmations and account-related notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

Your Data and the Flight School’s Role

SkyView Pro is a multi-tenant service provided to flight schools. When a flight school uses SkyView Pro, the school controls the data in its account and decides what information to record about its students, instructors, and operations. The flight school is responsible for the accuracy of its records and for obtaining any consents required from its students, instructors, and other users before entering their information. SkyView Pro processes this data on the school’s behalf in order to provide the service.

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored in Supabase, our database, authentication, and file-storage provider, hosted on AWS. Supabase maintains SOC 2 Type II compliance; this describes Supabase as our subprocessor and is not a certification of SkyView Pro itself. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using TLS. Access is strictly controlled — each flight school can only access its own data through row-level security policies enforced at the database layer.

Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We share data only with the service providers (subprocessors) necessary to operate SkyView Pro, and only to the extent needed:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage (hosted on AWS).
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Resend — transactional email (such as invitations and booking or account notices).
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Intuit / QuickBooks — optional accounting sync, used only if your flight school chooses to connect its QuickBooks account.
  • Cloudflare R2 — encrypted off-site backups.
  • Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics.

We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever. Data is shared only with the subprocessors listed above, and only to the extent necessary to run the service.

Children’s Privacy

Some student pilots are minors (for example, 16–17 years old). SkyView Pro may contain personal data about minors that is entered by a flight school through its authorized users, such as administrators and instructors. SkyView Pro processes this information on the flight school’s behalf as part of providing the service. SkyView Pro does not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data directly, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or your flight school cancels its subscription, we will delete your personal data upon written request within a reasonable period, subject to any legal or regulatory obligations to retain records.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. SkyView Pro currently operates in the United States; specific statutory rights, such as those under the GDPR or CCPA, may apply and will be addressed here as our service expands.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy, and any dispute relating to it, is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
